ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following requirements and duties are considered essential to the Wiping position. Other responsibilities may be assigned from time-to-time at the discretion of the Management.
• Perform the Wiping operations as trained.
• Ability to remove paint and repaint turnbacks/rejects if needed.
• Process all required paperwork.
• Check the quality of all parts and maintain quality standards. Remove any damaged parts from the line.
• Initiate/respond to the AMT’s as required for turnbacks/reworks to assure corrective action takes place as defects in product are discovered.
• Compose viable corrective actions when given an AMT by a downstream department.
• Upkeep (general cleaning & maintenance) and safe operation of wiping area.
• Meet established labor standards (Maintain average weekly labor utilization > 90%).
• Work according to a Department Schedule (perform the work sequentially per the department schedule and meet the production schedule on-time delivery rate at 92%).
• Generate VEs that provide value to the department and the company.

Job Title: CNC Milling Operator

Nature of Position: Full-time

SUMMARY:
The function of the CNC Milling Operator is to meet the established corporate goals. Occasionally, he/she will perform other duties and responsibilities assigned to him/her by the Manufacturing Manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- PREFERRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years production experience.

REQUIREMENTS and CONDITIONS:

• The sense of sight, colors, speech (English), and hearing are required.
• The physical requirements are standing or walking within the plant areas, bending, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.• Must be able to identify and distinguish between good quality and poor quality product and to segregate same.

• Most of the time will be spent in a non-smoking plant environment, with moderate noise and with a controlled temperature and moderate levels of non-toxic fumes. The majority of the day will be spent standing to operate the mini mill. May work with low level abrasive fluids or chemicals, such as lacquer thinner, etc.

  4. Painting skills helpful

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The sense of sight, colors, speech (English), reading, and hearing are required. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as basic math skills.
  • The physical requirements are standing or walking within the plant areas, bending, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers.  Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

  • Responsible to oversee the smooth and successful integration of work between the Paint Booth and other related departments.
  • Maintain paint booth equipment, including guns, mixers, wiping equipment and fans. Responsible for performing preventive maintenance according to the PM schedule to ensure specific operational performance.
  • Responsible to know, understand and practice all safety, storage and material handling policies and procedures associated with the painting and wiping area of the plant. This will include Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Hazardous Material and Waste Control. 
  • Maintain a high level of competency with all Wet Paint equipment to achieve the highest quality results possible and preview new techniques to improve both the quality and quantity of work produced.
  • Stage, set up products and provide quality product to next department by order.
  • Follow priority scheduling of the department.

Additionally, the Die Cast position will be responsible for the upkeep and safe operations of any area of the plant they are assigned, and to contribute to the smooth function of the department’s and company’s operation. Occasionally, he/she will perform other duties and responsibilities assigned to him/her by the management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years production experience.

REQUIREMENTS and CONDITIONS:

• The sense of sight, colors, speech (English), and hearing are required.
• The physical requirements are standing or walking within the plant areas, bending, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to tolerate above average temperature and humidity levels.

• Most of the time will be spent in a non-smoking plant environment, with noise moderate and with above-average temperature and humidity and moderate levels of non-toxic fumes. Will work with low level abrasive fluids or chemicals, such as lacquer thinner, etc. Additional time may be spent throughout the plant in various departments doing fill in relief work as required.

• The normal workday will be from 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday-Thursday, and 5:30-11:30 AM, Friday with additional hours on Saturday or later in the day as necessary when specific projects are due.
