SUMMARY:
The function of Shipper/Receiver personnel is to perform all job duties as trained for this position to meet the Company’s goals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Two years production experience.

REQUIREMENTS and CONDITIONS:

  • The sense of sight, colors, and speech and reading (English), are required.
  • The physical requirements are standing or walking within the plant areas, bending, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to differentiate colors, numbers, letters and finishes.
  • Most of the time will be spent in a non-smoking plant environment, with moderate noise and with a controlled temperature and moderate levels of non-toxic fumes. Will work with low level abrasive fluids or chemicals, such as lacquer thinner, etc
  • The normal workday will be an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, with shift time determined by the Production Manager. Saturday or later in the day may be necessary. The hours may be longer when specific projects are due.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following requirements and duties are considered essential to the Shipper/Receiver position.
Other responsibilities may be assigned from time-to-time at the discretion of Management.

  • Assist in the smooth and successful integration of all activities between his/her area of the plant and all other necessary departments, and to contribute to the smooth function of the shipping/receiving area.
  • Ship orders according to the pick ticket.
  • Process all required paperwork and turn in as required. Responsible for all work aids for doc control.
  • Responsible for accurate “ship via” and “ship to” on all orders
  • Initiate/respond to AMT’s as required for turnbacks/reworks.
  • Upkeep (general cleaning & maintenance) and safe operation of the Picking/Shipping area.
  • Check the quality of all the parts and maintain quality standards.
  • Scrap any non-conforming parts and report on schedule in IQMS. Follow established process to replace scrapped parts.
  • Initiate/respond to ICAR’s as required for turnbacks/reworks.
  • Perform receiving process.
  • Matches packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Tape, trim and assemble package parts per work instructions/job packet and place in inventory.
  • Follow all government and company policies relating to safety, health, and environment.
  • Must be able to remain focused on his/her work to reduce errors.
  • Must be a conscientious, quality minded worker who strives for superior performance.

• Ability to remove paint and repaint turnbacks/rejects if needed.

• Check the quality of all parts and maintain quality standards. Remove any damaged parts from the line.
• Initiate/respond to the AMT’s as required for turnbacks/reworks to assure corrective action takes place as defects in product are discovered.
• Compose viable corrective actions when given an AMT by a downstream department.
• Upkeep (general cleaning & maintenance) and safe operation of wiping area.
• Meet established labor standards (Maintain average weekly labor utilization > 90%).
• Work according to a Department Schedule (perform the work sequentially per the department schedule and meet the production schedule on-time delivery rate at 92%).
• Generate VEs that provide value to the department and the company.

SUMMARY:
The function of the CNC Milling Operator is to meet the established corporate goals. Occasionally, he/she will perform other duties and responsibilities assigned to him/her by the Manufacturing Manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- PREFERRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years production experience.

REQUIREMENTS and CONDITIONS:

• The sense of sight, colors, speech (English), and hearing are required.
• The physical requirements are standing or walking within the plant areas, bending, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.• Must be able to identify and distinguish between good quality and poor quality product and to segregate same.

• Most of the time will be spent in a non-smoking plant environment, with moderate noise and with a controlled temperature and moderate levels of non-toxic fumes. The majority of the day will be spent standing to operate the mini mill. May work with low level abrasive fluids or chemicals, such as lacquer thinner, etc.

• Maintain a high level of competency with all equipment on which the operator has been trained to achieve the highest quality results possible and preview new techniques for continuous improvement to both the quality and quantity of work produced. Meet established labor standards

  4. Painting skills helpful

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The sense of sight, colors, speech (English), reading, and hearing are required. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as basic math skills.
  • The physical requirements are standing or walking within the plant areas, bending, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers.  Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Other responsibilities may be assigned from time-to-time at the discretion of the Management.

  • Responsible to oversee the smooth and successful integration of work between the Paint Booth and other related departments.
  • Maintain paint booth equipment, including guns, mixers, wiping equipment and fans. Responsible for performing preventive maintenance according to the PM schedule to ensure specific operational performance.
  • Responsible to know, understand and practice all safety, storage and material handling policies and procedures associated with the painting and wiping area of the plant. This will include Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Hazardous Material and Waste Control. 
  • Maintain a high level of competency with all Wet Paint equipment to achieve the highest quality results possible and preview new techniques to improve both the quality and quantity of work produced.
  • Stage, set up products and provide quality product to next department by order.
  • Follow priority scheduling of the department.
  • Responsible for the upkeep (general cleaning & maintenance) and safe operations of your area.
